Steam Name: Goose

Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:43928212

Have you been on Lateralus Gaming before?: Yes, the recent HL2RP the older SRP and the more recent FORP.

What communities was this character on before?:

Revotech
CoG
Site86
Leviticus
CG
LG

For what purpose are you transferring this character's story, instead of starting a new one with new experiences and open doors?: I feel in the past I have used too many characters to simply cause violence and destruction. What I would like to try and do if given the chance, is to assist in helping the rookies towards the beginning of the server, show them the ropes so to speak and then hopefully join back up with some old friends later on and continue to either teach the newer people or move on to something else like assisting the Ecologist's we will say for an example, and make sure nothing horrendous happens to them. Or if someone needs a job doing more than happy to help depending on the situation of course. Basically, I want to limit the number of rookies killed and assist in making them efficient S.T.A.L.K.E.Rs. Kinda of like Wolf in SoC to an extent.

References (People from either the current LG community or a link to a character page on another forum website):
Kiwuu, Isocade, SSJ2 Starkiller.

Proof of Existence (Screenshots or video or .sql database line. No chat logs. They can easily be forged. This is not required but it definitely helps): Now I did retconn his name but that is the only change I made.

Notable Characters Interacted With (Who did they interact with and what was their role in the interaction? Player names to link to the character names are appreciated.):

Ilyusha 'Bart' Zovord,http://steamcommunity.com/id/FlufflyBunny/ 'Wanderer"http://steamcommunity.com/id/BornToShill/, 'Maria' http://steamcommunity.com/id/DatGuyLucky/ were all members of the Blood Star mercenary unit that ended up collapsing on itself.

Tuuli Juutilainen-Grissom: Fiancée to Granite her ultimate fate is unbeknownst to him.  http://steamcommunity.com/id/isocade/

Matilda Grissom: One of the many siblings to Tuuli, she is the youngest and quite frankly the most rebellious of them all. http://steamcommunity.com/id/Napalmed at least I believe it was Cake.

Character Backstory (Who are they? How did they get here? Who did they interact with and why? What happened to them between then and now?):

Granite was brought up in an extremely militant household, his father (Howard) having served during Vietnam in the Army as part of the paratroopers. Born on February 24th 1979, he was one of the few who could enjoy seeing his father after the war ended. Whether or not that was a good thing is debatable. As many people found out veterans coming back from the Vietnam War suffered from what they called "Jungle Fatigue", "Shell Shock" or just plain PTSD. Granite's father took up alcohol like many others but he never came home drunk or beat Granite or his mother. Instead he would get into bar fights nearly every night and come home a bloody mess, to which his wife (Betty) would have to clean up and nurture back to health. This was ingrained into Granites' mind, he blaming the war for breaking his father into this fragile shell of what used to be a man. At first Granite wanted nothing to do with war, he was in middle school when Desert Storm happened and having to watch his father go back off to war really pissed him off. Desert Storm was what pushed Howard to his limit, having committed suicide when returning back home after deployment, this is what pushed Granite into seclusion from others for quite sometime, cursing those who forced his father to go fight for no reason and then let him die. Despite this, Granite only knew the Military life-style. He could never hold a job working at drug stores, or fast food restaurants this eventually caused him to crumble and give into the fact that he was good for only one thing, atleast in his mind. He enlisted during his 19th birthday already having took the ASVAB prior, he wanted to follow in his father's foot steps being a paratrooper for the U.S. Army. He did so and in a way became an adrenaline junkie because of it. Granite was always terrified of heights so one can imagine the first time jumping out of a plane what was going through his head.

Upon completion of Boot camp Granite tried out for other specialized training such as, Weapon specialization, marksmanship, how to parachute out with vehicles and equipment. After 9/11 happened Granite and his unit were sent over to the Middle East in Baghdad to drop behind enemy lines to procure a spot so the initial landing force could set up shop. However upon landing in the sand, Granite landed wrong causing him to dislocate his left knee this did not hinder the operation at hand but it did cause Granite to be medically discharged from the Army, but instead of being tossed out like a broken tool he managed to get himself transferred over to the Navy as a SAR diver since swimming had no negative effect on his knee. Granite spent the rest of his time during Operation: Iraqi Freedom either on a aircraft carrier or a UH-60, early 2011 when Iraqi Freedom ended he spent most of his time at home drinking...Ironic is it not?

A friend of Granites' from the Army sent him an e-mail talking about a contracting job, unbeknownst to Granite this job would change his life forever. He accepted such an offer, eager to get back into the fight. Upon arrival to this big office building in Washington D.C. it was clear this job was out of the ordinary since most of the veteran contractors were confused as to why they were being sent to Chernobyl, Ukraine. After about a months worth of time April 11th 2011 to be exact five black SUV's pulled up into Bolling Airforce base while a C-130 was being loaded up with vehicles and equipment. Guys dressed in business suits other in simple khaki pants and t-shirts step out of the SUVs, and made their way to the plane itself however they themselves were not to be riding in the C-130, but a private jet. Upon boarding the jet they prepared for a long flight to the Ramstein Airforce base in Germany. Upon arrival at Ramstein they were taken into an isolated hanger where they began kitting out, under the guise as a UN/NATO joint operation to the Exclusion Zone they easily snuck under the soldiers at Ramstein. Mostly armed with LR-300s, M16s and a few G36s with Kevlar vests and either navy blue jumpsuits or a splinter urban jumpsuit accompanied with an XM40 or M17 gasmask. From there they drove to Chernobyl...a long grueling drive. They had URAL trucks which upon getting closer to the Zone's border they placed UKM markings on it so it made it easier for them to enter the Zone, bribes and threats were used from time to time but then eventually entered the Zone.

The team of fifteen men were only there a week when they lost five due to odd wavy almost invisible apparitions. The second week they lost seven due to armed hostiles and some kind of squid-faced creature. The remaining three were scared to death, the last remaining members were Hawk, Condor and Granite who was given the codename 'Goose' for this assignment. Condor attempted to make contact with their bosses back in the States, his fate is unknown. Hawk lost it and become some thug, killing any and all who even looked at him wrong. And Granite went off to into the Zone in hopes of finding other mercenary groups from the same company, only to be met with a pack of wild dogs which literally tore him up. Battered, bruised, dehydrated and down right exhausted he stumbled upon a settlement that housed people that did not shoot at him at first sight. He managed to get the entrance of town before collapsing, he awoke to a man named Ivan who took him into the local bar giving him some vodka, bread and some kinda of canned meat. Ivan and Granite managed to form a decent friendship which only strengthened as time went on. Ivan introduced Granite to a man referred to as 'Red' who was the leader of the local mercenary group "Red Menace". Granite being a mercenary and having lost his entire squad, decided it would be beneficial for him to join this group. He first needed to find a replacement weapon inorder to join so Ivan gave him a Fort-12 so he could be excepted. After several weeks went by Granite managed to obtain better armament and protection like-wise forming a coup against 'Red' who had kept more money from his members after every job. A member called "Kushnir" tried to take over, but was quickly over thrown and kicked out for trying to same thing as 'Red'. Granite took over and changed the name of the group to "Blood Star" and repairing relationships with factions that the other two disrupted. Becoming one of the most lethal, yet most neutral mercenary group in the Zone at the time Blood Star recruited several members including a humungous family known as the Grissom's. Granite having a romantic relationship with one of the many members of the family caused him to have conflicting ideals and wants in life. He loved this woman, yet he loved what he did. In the end his hunger for money and power drove his love away to a faction known as "Freedom", in Granites head he thought she left him for someone inside Freedom causing an abnormal amount of hate for the entire faction and mistrust in his fiancée.

He soon moved on and assisted Duty in an on going war with Freedom, for Granite this was what he wanted, he had a chance to crush Freedom and get his love back. Unfortunately this war between Duty and Freedom caused a civil war in Blood Star members either supporting Freedom and members supporting Duty. In the end this caused the destruction of Blood Star with it's mercenaries allying with either Duty or Freedom.
During a shoot out between the two there was a major Emission that wiped out both sides combatants to the point the survivors if any were forced to retreat. Granite was among the few survivors only living due to him being pinned down inside a concrete building on the second floor of a three story building. Granite managed to retreat back to what was left of Duty in that sector before leaving for the nearest Loner settlement, doing work for people in exchange for money and training rookies for free and spending his time either in the bar or sitting around a fire wondering what happened to the love of his life and his friends.

Arkadiy isn't 'notable'. WOW Goose. WOW. In all seriousness, Goose is a long time character and so long no items are coming along, I see no reason to say no.
