Like the previous thread I posted for pictures, feel free to put any kind of music video, that you want in here or simply talk about what kind of music that you like. I do not want this thread to start fights if it does I will ask a staff member, or Marci to remove the messages.

Have fun!
If you are going to post hate full or rude comments and general do not bother replying. But other than that please post what you think and what could be different/changed/or added.

You like Huey Lewis and the News?

Their early work was a little too new wave for my taste. But when Sports came out in '83, I think they really came into their own, commercially and artistically. The whole album has a clear, crisp sound, and a new sheen of consummate professionalism that really gives the songs a big boost. He's been compared to Elvis Costello, but I think Huey has a far more bitter, cynical sense of humor.

In '87, Huey released this; Fore!, their most accomplished album. I think their undisputed masterpiece is "Hip To Be Square". A song so catchy, most people probably don't listen to the lyrics. But they should, because it's not just about the pleasures of conformity and the importance of trends. It's also a personal statement about the band itself.

Try getting a reservation at Dorsia now, you fuckin' stupid bastard!

One of my favorite bands of all time has gotta be Alter Bridge.

Alter Bridge's got a good mixture of rock and metal elements, their guitarist Mark Tremonti is one of the best guitarists of our time who is currently still playing- And he's doing a side project of trying out going solo under "Tremonti".

Their main selling point is probably their lead vocalists, Myles Kennedy. Myles Kennedy has got one of the best voice and vocal ranges I've heard on a metal band singer, at least to me and so far.

Used their songs as themes for Serpentine in the characters section, still the best.

Someone was serious and ruined all the fun. In that case, i'll follow along. What Iso posted was pretty good. The riff at the start was nice and I enjoyed it, I saw the word "Metal" and was expecting a coarse singer who sounded like a chain smoking motorbike to kick in whilst screaming about conformity but I was wrong. Not bad at all.

Favourite musician of all time has to be Jimi Hendrix, Hands down. Man was a genius on the guitar. Going as far as lighting it on fire whilst dry humping it during a live show. Copious amounts of drugs were consumed. As a singer he wasn't that great at all but his guitar playing is out of this world. His songs usually feature one-two minute solos in which he does what he does best. Here's one of my favourites. Most of the songs on the internet feature only a snippet of what he might have performed during live shows and very little of his music made it past production, most of it wasn't commercially viable. God I sound like a hipster.

Also another good band, Demonic Death Judge. They do psychedelic sludge metal, which is a slow tempo with metal instruments and scream/guttural based vocals.

Personally I will find myself listening to Anything with a beat, but I find myself listening to a lot of NU metal.

Korn is where it's at for NU metal I just love all of their tracks.

This is probably gonna sound/look so stereotypical of me.... but this is probably my #1 favorite song of all time, sounds good, my favorite band, and the message within it just leaves me in awe after.
